Course Details

Level 3 Core 21 Credits

Purpose:

To promote an enjoyment of English literature and to provide a foundation for the Scholarship examination, to encourage discussion and thinking and to develop skills in essay writing. Study of literature including poetry, novel and film. This course is literary-based and requires competent essay writing skills.

Entry Requirements:

12 credits ENG2 achieved mainly at Merit or Excellence, and HOF/TIC approval. Students must also have completed Wide Reading Level 2 AS91106
