Course Details
Compulsory - Full YearPurpose:
To increase students understanding of Mathematics and build their confidence in using Mathematics to solve practical problems.Entry Requirements:
Satisfactory completion a Year 9 Mathematics course.Content:
The course will continue to develop the students knowledge of Number, Measurement, Algebra, Probability, Statistics and Geometry. Trigonometry will be introduced. Some Level 1 NCEA Mathematics may be offered.
Assessment:
Common topic tests on content and process. End of year examination.
