Compulsory - Full YearPurpose:
To increase students' understanding of Mathematics and build their confidence in using Mathematics to solve practical problems.Entry Requirements:
Satisfactory completion of a Year 9 Mathematics course.Content:
The course will continue to develop the students' knowledge of Number, Measurement, Algebra, Probability, Statistics and Geometry. Trigonometry will be introduced. Some level 1 NCEA Mathematics standards may be offered.
Assessment:
Common topic tests on content and process. End of year examination.
