Level 2 Optional 26 CreditsPurpose:
To provide a pathway towards University entrance and other tertiary vocational courses for students from all Year 11 Science courses through internally assessed topics that are relevant to the local Whanganui context. Year 12 internal sciences is a more accessible, although still demanding, course requiring the student to maintain a high level of concentration and effort throughout the year as the course is entirely internally assessed. Many of the concepts and knowledge needed require students to work independently. The ideal student has a mature and self-motivated attitude to their studies. The course has a Primary Industry focus.Entry Requirements:
