Course Details
Level 3 Optional 19 - 23 CreditsPurpose:
To build upon previous studies, to develop an understanding of the natural and cultural environments, and develop an understanding of the environment as the home of people. Main studies include: a natural geographic environment in New Zealand (Coastal Processes, examining the Kapiti Coast); Cultural Processes (Tourism Development in Queenstown and the Gold Coast). Contemporary geographic issues and geographic issues on a global scale (Global Tourism), as well as planning and carrying out geographic research in the Kapiti Coast.Entry Requirements:
12 credits GEO2 or 12 ENG2 Credits or HOF/TIC approval.Course Contribution:
Field Trip (Kapiti Coast approx $30), $25 course book, Optional Gold Coast Trip (approx $2300) or if the Gold Coast Trip does not run, Mt Maunganui - $450Leads To:
