Full Year - Through Invitation and SelectionPurpose:
To provide students with knowledge and skills required for future studies in Social Science. To provide students an extension course in Social Sciences as an alternative to SOC0. To provide students with the knowledge and skills required for future studies in Social Science.Entry Requirements:
Completion of SOCE (Year 9) Social Science Course. Students will be selected from performance in SOCE course (Year 9 course).Content:
Students will develop understanding of the unique nature of Aotearoa, New Zealand's bicultural heritage as well as multi-cultural societies in other parts of the world.
Assessment:
Year 10 End of Year examination. Internal Unit Assessment.
