Course Details

Year 9 Optional One term

Purpose:

To develop students understanding of Technology in a Textiles environment. They will have the opportunity to learn and develop their practical skills while completing creative solutions to given design tasks.

Content:

Focusing on fabric and design, this course explores creative and innovative ways of researching, illustrating, designing, applying decoration and constructing functional items. Students will learn basic pattern interpretation, sewing skills and the correct use of equipment.
