Whanganui Fire Service - Info & Practice Day (29 May)

The first step in the recruitment process is attending an Information & Practice Day. Although not compulsory, it is highly recommended if you are seriously considering becoming a Career Firefighter.

The day will cover:\ • What a modern firefighter does\ • A breakdown of the recruitment process\ • What the recruit’s course entails\ • Equipment used\ • Opportunity to practice the Physical Pre-entry Test (PPT)
