To promote an enjoyment of English literature and to provide a foundation for the Scholarship examination, to encourage discussion and thinking and to develop skills in essay writing. Study of literature including poetry, novel and film. This course is literary-based and requires competent essay writing skills. Students will be prepared to sit the English Scholarship Examination.
