Purpose:
To increase students understanding of Mathematics and build their confidence in using Mathematics to solve practical problems.
Content:
The course will continue to develop the students' knowledge of Number, Measurement, Algebra, Probability, Statistics and Geometry. Trigonometry will be introduced. Level 1 NCEA Numeracy Standards will be offered.
Assessment:
Common topic tests on content and process. End of year examination.
