1. Students need a graphics calculator for this course; 2. Students taking this course need a reasonable standard of literacy. Most of the work involves writing or interpreting statistical reports and related information; 3. Students wanting to take scholarship Statistics must take MPS3 and MTA3.

To improve statistical skills for students who are likely to study mathematics, or physical or social sciences at tertiary level. Time Series analysis and Statistics including Binomial, Normal and Poisson distributions.
