Purpose:
To broaden students' understanding of Science and how humans use it to explain natural phenomena. To practice and use the scientific method of investigation to formulate justified explanations and conclusions.
Content:
A practical based course that builds on and complements the concepts and skill learned in Year 9 Science via these themes: Chemical reactions - acids + bases - Space Survival - Electricity + magnetism - Sport + Medicine - Food + digestion - Earth Sciences, Forces.
