Satisfactory completion a Year 9 Mathematics course.
Mathematics General (NCEA 1)
To increase students understanding of Mathematics and build their confidence in using Mathematics to solve practical problems.
The course will continue to develop the students knowledge of Number, Measurement, Algebra, Probability, Statistics and Geometry. Trigonometry will be introduced. Some Level 1 NCEA Mathematics may be offered.
Common topic tests on content and process. End of year examination.
