Keelan receives the Prime Ministers Vocational Excellence Award.

This year the Prime Minister created an award, The Prime Ministers Vocational Excellence Award. This award was to be given to a student who displays excellence in Vocational Studies.

This year's recipient was Keelan Tui who despite some difficult times has displayed resilience and a strong belief in himself to work hard. Keelan gained both NCEA Level 2 and 3 in one year. He also showed great leadership skills and was highly thought of by his fellow classmates, teachers and UCOL tutors.

Keelan was also awarded the Principal's Tertiary Award.

Keelan was a member of the Vocational Studies Year 13 class and studied Makeup and Skincare at UCOL, and has enrolled in a UCOL Course 2020.

He was a worthy recipient of this award.
