Great results at the Whanganui School Pupil Chess Championship 2020

On 24 September, we took a group of 5 to the Whanganui School Pupil Chess Championship 2020, held at Churton School.

Though the tournament was smaller than normal, our students did an excellent job, claiming the highest awards.

Overall Winners:

1st - Shawn Lamong
2nd - Zach Paikea
3rd - Jihoo Kim

1st Under 16s - Sam Gray
1st Under 14s - Toby Clark

A great day was had by all!
