Well what an amazing weekend our athletics team has had at the NZSS Athletics Champs!!! 💚💛

Well done to coaches Greg Fromont and Elaine Baker on your teams successes!
Well done to our students who have put in many hours to get these results!!

Finals today:

Nat Kirk BRONZE medal in 110m & 300m senior boys Hurdles. 👏👏
Maggie Jones GOLD Medal in 300m senior girls hurdles, SILVER Medal in 100m hurdles and has also made the NZ team again this year!!! 👏👏👏🎉🎉

Well done to our Yr9 junior mixed relay team of Teresa & Carrie Rennie, Alistair Cameron and Thomas Gowan getting BRONZE in the Junior U16 grade in 4x400m relay! 👏😉
Teresa was also 5th in 300m hurdles junior final and Casie Glentworth came 5th in 300m senior hurdle final.
Flynn Johnston came 4th in 300m senior boys hurdle final.
Carrie Rennie came 5th in the 80m hurdle junior girls final and Coby Pye came 8th in final of 100mtr Hurdle.
Sophie Andrews came 5th in senior girls javelin, 15th in discus and 9th in hammer. 👍
Our senior girls 4x100mtrs relay came 4th and senior boys 4x400mtrs relay came 4th also!
