Boys Volleyball

Our tournament started with some tough matches in our pool with a Loss first 2 games against Matamata 1-2 & Rototuna 1-2 yesterday. Today with a Loss v Horowhenua 0-2 this morning followed by a convincing win v St Patrick’s college this afternoon. Keep it up boys we got your backs.

Girls Volleyball

WHS Girls Volleyball won their first match against Gisborne HS in 2 sets (25-9, 25-17). They had excellent defense thanks to Danica and Nisha, and some great attacks from the middle hitters Akeelah and Kitana. Great start to nationals!

The second match was a tough match against Te Puke Girls High. WHS lost both sets (25-16, 25-15) but had a lot of fun. Jeide was on fire with her hitting, and the setters Tamelia and Sarinya did a great job assisting the hitters.
