T16 - Term 1

Yesterday saw our T16 Secondary School Competition draw to the close. A very well matched 6-team competition that saw the likes of Cullinane College, Rangitīkei College, St George's School Whanganui, Whanganui Collegiate School & Whanganui High School battle it out in high-paced & hard-hitting cricket.

The Grand Final saw Whanganui High School & Cullinane College battle it out on Springvale #1. Congratulations to Whanganui High School who came out on top, restricting Cullinane to 76/6 from their 16 overs. Ari Cromar the chief destroyer with 3 wickets for 4 runs. Alex King was Cullinane's top batter, retiring on 25 from 25 balls. Whanganui High School chased down their target in fine fashion, Noah Toy retiring on 25 off 18 balls.

A huge well done and thank you to all schools, players, coaches for their co-operation and support throughout the season. It is fantastic to see our cricketers going from strength to strength in the Secondary School space, we look forward to seeing them all again in Term 4!
