Whanganui High School - Pasifika

A group of our Pasifika students represented the school for Pasifika Fusion 2024 on the theme “Triumphant Pasifika Legacies: A reflection on Dawn Raids”. Cazna (Year 9) took part in Visual art, Akanisi (Year 9) took part in wearable art, Jeide (Year 12) and Jeila (Year 10) took part in English speeches and Danica (Year 13) took part in the Pasifika Language speech. Jeide also submitted an essay and a poem based on the theme. All the students were also part of the cultural performance. Vinaka vakalevu to all those involved, especially the students, whānau and Marie.
