It has been a busy 9 days for Lucas Munn with Judo competitions. Saturday the 14th of September saw him attend the North Island Judo Champs in Auckland, where he won gold and became the North Island Cadets Open Champion (in the under 18 bracket). He also fort hard and came away with two bronze. One for the Cadets +81 bracket and one in the Junior Men (under 20) under 90kgs.
On the weekend Lucas attended the Australian Schools competition in Brisbane Australia coming away with Silver in the young men (year 13 and under) under 81 bracket, only losing out to the current Australian national champ by the slimmest of margins. Sunday 22nd saw Lucas compete in the Queensland International Open coming away with Bronze in the cadet Men under 81kg bracket (under 18) and silver in the Junior Men (under 21) bracket, again going head to head with Australia's best of the best.
3 massive divisions for Noah Fredrick in his first overseas judo trip.
🥉 Bronze in the Australian school championships
🥉 Bronze in junior men (-73kg) Queensland International opens
🥉Bronze in Cadets (-73kg) Queensland International opens
Only lost one fight each division and each loss was by the winner of his division.
Well done to both Lucas Munn and Noah Frederick on their achievements.
