Whanganui High School Sports

Whanganui High School took 18 riders to Lake Pauri, Kaitoke on Wednesday 5 August to compete in the WSS Mountain Bike Championships. While it was a chilly day, it was a huge improvement on the freezing conditions the day before!

A big thank you to Sport Whanganui for hosting another fantastic event. Our students had an awesome day out and thoroughly enjoyed the competition.

WHS Results:

Senior Girls: Hannah Cameron – 2nd

Senior Boys: Noah Toy – 3rd

Junior Girls: Casey Sharratt – 1st

Junior Boys: George McGregor – 5th

Congratulations also to our relay team of Bruce McGregor, Hannah Cameron, Xavier Brotherton, and a Whanganui Girls' College guest rider, who finished an impressive 3rd.
