Winter Tourney Week comes to an end for another year!

Hard fought games, long life memories and fun were had by our teams this week.

Congrats to our Year 13’s playing their last games for WHS 💚💛🎉🎉

⚽️Junior Football Boys finished a fantastic 6th in the Hillsdene Junior Tournament after losing 2-0 to a strong Rutherford College in the 5/6 playoff. It was also a nice bonus to be the only team to take points from eventual winners Tauranga Boys College! An impressive first appearance at a national tournament for our junior boys.

⚽️Our 1st XI football boys played our final game this afternoon vs Hobsonville Point Secondary School and secured another win 3-1. We finish a respectable 9th out of 32 teams at a tough tournament. Lost one game all tournament, job very well done.

⚽️Football Girls

Won today vs St Mary's 1-0

9th overall also! Unlucky not to make the top 8 in a tough pool.

Great tournament for the girls.

🏑Hockey girls

Our girls finished the tournament in 18th position, with a 3-1 loss to Howick College today. It was a fun week away with plenty of laughs, memories and, of course, hockey, having both the boys and the girls teams at the North Shore. Well done girls — a great finish to the season! 🏑🏑🏑💚💛💚💛

🏑Boys Hockey

Boys played hard. Today’s game came down to a penalty shoot out and the boys came away with the win to place 11th in the tournament.

🏐Netball A1

Our team finished 20th out of 32 teams in A Grade.

A huge week for the girls with lots of tough close games where they managed to win six out of the ten games played.

🏇🏻Equestrian is split into 5 different riding classes and the Quiz. We had a team of 6 girls compete at NISS

Quiz: 3 days of quiz challenges including a 2 hour session on Monday, a 30 minute written test on Tuesday and a kahoot on Wednesday
