Japan Karate Association New Zealand Ltd is in Kapiti Coast.

JKA KCoast welcomed Shihan Kobayashi for a one day Seminar in their dojo at Paramaraumu on the Kapiti Coast. Members from Wellington, Whanganui and Kapiti Coast attended the seminar with great enthusiasm. Shihan Kobayashi covered kihon and kata in the Junior session. In the senior session Shiahn covered Jitte kata in great technical detail including bunkai. This was a great opportunity for Kapiti Coast to host the JKA Japanese Team head coach.

Whanganui High School Sports

It was such a privilege for Whanganui High School students Cristelle Preciosa, Leone Joubert, PJ Bandajandong, Roman Torres, Sachie Narita and Yuqing Lai to join the Kapiti Coast seminar last week with Japan Karate Association Head Quarters instructor and national coach for Japan, Kobayashi Kunio Shihan. Everyone came away buzzing with enthusiasm from new learnings.
