Awesome results for WHS in the NZSS Multisport Champs

The secondary school multisport championships were held alongside the 3D multisport event on Sunday 5 June in Rotorua.

Result of student from WHS:

Jack Clifton, Cameron Russell, and Lucas Thompson gained 1st place overall in the grass roots 25km multisport teams event, beating all age groups.

Katie Foster was placed 3rd in the U14 Junior female school championships.

Cambell Tanner was placed 3rd in the U19 Senior student school championships.

Ben Foster was 5th in the U16 male students.

Liam Lace, Flynn Hogan and Hamish Beissel (team run it straight) were 5th in the 50km mens' team race.

All the students did exceptionally well with the three disciplines of kayaking, mountain biking and trail running.
