Basketball results from Youth Games
Great results from the Youth Games Basketball Tournament that has been run at the Springvale Stadium over the last two days.
Our Junior A Girls went through unbeaten winning overall.
vs Fielding won 65-79
vs Mana won 53-45
vs WHS invitation lost 39-54
Final vs Mana College won 64-42
Our Junior A Boys finished second in their grade.
vs Fielding A won 59-50
vs Fielding B won 93-14
vs Tupoho won 35-18
Final vs Mana College lost 65-71
Well done to both teams!
Tomorrow sees the beginning of the netball at Laird Park where WHS has 4 teams taking part for two days! Good luck girls.
Our golfers Ryan Donaldson and Blake Sherman go into Day 3 tomorrow at Wanganui Golf Club.
