Congratulations Mr Barnett, our Head of Outdoor Education teacher!!

He ran in the Isuzu IRONMAN 70.3 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in South Africa.

Triathlon’s top talent came together in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa for the 2018 Isuzu IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship on September 1-2. Boasting one of the most competitive professional fields in the sport, the event made history as it took place in Africa for the first time.

An Ironman 70.3, also known as a Half Ironman, is one of a series of long-distance triathlon races organized by the World Triathlon Corporation.

Mr Barnett ran it in an awesome time of 4:40 hours!
