Dancers do well at Wellington Ballroom Champs

Whanganui dancers do well at Wellington Spirit of Ballroom Championships.

WHS student Jared Sim and Reeve Watson won the following events in Junior Level 1 events – New Vogue, Open New Vogue, Standard Ballroom – as well as coming second in Latin dancing. At Level 2 Junior, they won New Vogue, Standard Ballroom and Latin. At Junior Open Level, they won in New Vogue and achieved second in Open Latin.

Cyara Torr was placed first in 15 years and under Jive and in 15 years and under Waltz. Taliah Pollero gained second placing in the following classes – 15 years and under Jive, Juvenile Preliminary Cha Cha, Juvenile Preliminary Waltz and Juvenile Preliminary Merrilyn. Taliah also gained third place in the 15 years and under Waltz.
