Geography students bring home sheild!

Congratulations to Leila Collinson, Elena Egorov and Hamish Beissel who won gold at the Maatangi Whenua Geography competition held at Massey University on Thursday 11 August.

WHS entered 3 teams of 3 into the Maatangi Whenua Geography competition.

Twelve teams from eight schools gathered at Massey University for a fun filled evening of geography.

In teams of three we completed eight different activities from a geography in the news quiz to general knowledge. 

Congratulations to Whanganui High School students for bringing home the shield!
