Great results for our Softball teams - April 2016

 

Well done to our two softball teams who went to Hastings last week to compete in the NZ Division 1 Secondary School Softball Nationals. 

The teams played some hard games against some top softball players, but came away from the tournament with experience and development and some great awards.

Congratulations to Jessica Watkin who was named in the NZ Tournament Team. Jessica also got 8th top batter in the Tournament. Average .429

Manea Kotuhi-Brown was 7th top pitcher. ERA 2.60

Wiremu Hiri was named in the NZ Tournament Rest Team (B squad).

Well done to both teams!
