Jnr A Girls Volleyball top team

Whanganui High School Junior A Girls Volleyball team won over Girls College to be the top Junior Girls team in Whanganui.

Wednesday 4 April was the final day of Volleyball for the Whanganui schools competition at Jubilee stadium which has been running since the beginning of Term 1. 

Whanganui High School had 5 teams in the competition: 
Junior A and Junior B girls, Senior girls year 12 Social team, Senior girls year 13 Social team and the Senior girls competitive A team. 

The Senior and Junior A teams made their finals and the Junior girls won over Girls College to be the top junior girls team in Whanganui. The Senior girls had a narrow loss to City College to come second in the senior competition. 

Well done to everyone who competed in the competition, and we look forward to volleyball starting up again in Term 4.
