Leaders to foster sense of community - February 2016

 

WORKING TOGETHER: Wanganui High School leaders for 2016 are Te Parata Tichbon - head of culture (left), Jack Pilet - head of sport, Rylee Dudley - head of social, Anastasia Taminyaga - head of Pasifika, Grace Jones - head of culture, Tom Adkin - head of community, Isiah Hamlin - head of social, Rumati Tamati - head of sport, Millie Manning - head of community, Poipoia Poa - deputy head, Jeanne-Marie Bonnet - head of school, Regan Davey - head of academia, Connor Cresswell - head of school, and Joe Redpath - deputy head. Head of academia, Methmi Perera was absent. 

Wanganui High School assistant principal Nola Todd says staff and students are pleased to have such a strong and committed group making up the student leadership team for 2016. "These students are involved in planning and managing events for the wider school, with Valentine's Day dedications, summer sports promotion, and a leadership camp already on the go."

Ms Todd said the leadership team, led by Jeanne-Marie Bonnet and Connor Cresswell, reflected the voice of all students at Wanganui High School. and worked to foster a greater sense of school community.
