Lion's Regional Speech competition

Congratulations to the Whanganui High School girls' who participated in the Lion's Regional Speech competition. L>R; WINNER Emelye Brown, Candice Clark and Arafia Khan who came third. 

The Lion's Regional Speech competition was held on Sunday 10 June and schools from Palmerston North and Whanganui participated.

It was won by Emelye Brown who now progresses to participate in the national competition in Wellington. Arafia Khan came third with her speech. Also pictured is Candice Clark who also participated. All three students were strong contenders and did themselves and the school proud.
