Waimarino Art Awards Winners

CONGRATULATIONS to Nat Kirk (Year 9) and Abbey Hocquard (Year 13) who won their sections at The Waimarino Art Awards 2018.

Nat Kirk won the "Junior 2D Artist" category (ages 10-13) for his superbly crafted drawing.

Abbey Hocquard won the "Young Photography" category (ages 14-18) for her striking photograph.

Two very talented artists. Well done! Our department is super proud of you.

The exhibition is open until 14 July at the Royal Theatre in Raetihi, if you happen to be visiting the mountain this break, make sure you visit and vote for your favourite - there is a Peoples Choice category yet to be finalized  :)
