WHS Junior A1 Netball win Youth Games competition

WHS Junior A1 Netball Team..... winners Youth Games Netball 2017  

Well done to our 4 Junior netball teams that took part in the Youth Games in Wanganui yesterday and today. 

10 teams competed in the competition with teams from Fielding, Hawera, Opunake and Wanganui. 

Congratulations to our WHS Junior A1 team who won the competition.

Well done also to the Junior A2, 10A and 9A teams who had some great games of netball over the two days. All teams improved their games and developed as players and teams. 

Thanks to our wonderful coaches and the student umpires that also helped out!

WHS will be looking forward to the Youth Games next year and hoping to have more junior teams involved in more sports!
