Well done to our WHS students who received financial support from the Mega Mitre 10 Future Champions Trust tonight.

The trust aims to provide financial support to high achieving individual Wanganui youth.

Four WHS students were part of the 7 recipients!
Congratulations to Jack Clifton, Lucas Thompson, Renee Teers and Chase Morpeth.

Jack and Lucas are heading to Romania in July to race at the Junior World Canoeing Champs for NZ.
They are both in the K4 500 race and
Jack is also part of the K2 1000 race.

Renee and Chase head off tomorrow to Brisbane to the Oceania Champs for Speed Skating representing NZ.
They start competing on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
Chase is in the cadets u15’s and Renee is in the junior u19’s.

Renne’s financial support tonight will also help her get to the Worlds in Spain in July!

Outstanding achievements by all and we wish them all the best!!
