Winners of our 2015 Māori Awards

A great night was had by all at our Māori Awards. 

A big thank you to Poutama Hamahona-Taiaroa (Head of Māori) and Waimarama Matena for their help in running the awards.

The Guest Speaker was Louise Tyson, a former Wanganui High School student, who spoke about what she had accomplished in life so far and that it is ok to fail at something as she had done in the past.

Māori Dux - Alexander Torrie

Se'u Leleimalefaga memorial cup for Female recipient - Laisiana Bulivou
Se'u Leleimalefaga memorial cup for Male recipient - J-Von Aki Vaiao
Taonga for his continued contribution as a male leader to the Māori Department - Poutama Hamahona-Taiaoa
