To extend and develop students ability to communicate in Te Reo Māori and to enable students to understand and respect Ngā Tikanga Māori. To enable students to gain deeper understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for Te Ao Māori. Students will learn to read, write and speak about other people, their families, their interests and hobbies, and a range of unfamiliar topics. Students will be required to collate evidence of work for their assessment portfolio.
